Manager Health, Safety & Environment - Karachi, Pakistan
Gul Ahmed Textile Mills Limited is looking for energetic and motivated individuals, with strong academic backgrounds and the passion to take on challenges, for the following position.

Manager Health, Safety & Environment (Male/Female):

Qualification: At least BE (Preferably Chemical / Mechanical Engineer)

Experience: Minimum cumulative experience of ten years as HSE Professional with at least three years as HSE Manager in a reputable organization

Skills Required:
- Well versed in implementation of ISO-9001, 14001 & OHSAS-18001 certifications
- Good knowledge of OSHA rules & regulations
- Can Develop an HSE Management Program for a big organization including development of HSE training modules

Responsibilities:
- Review and develop HSE policies, procedures and guidance, and ensure its implementation
- Devise, develop, and monitor effective Risk Assessment management strategies
- Promote and coordinate the integration of environmental management and sustainability issues into policies, rules, products, services and operations
- Ensure that statutory requirements are being upheld throughout the organization
- Provide training to staff in relation to health and safety policies, practices and procedures
- Carry out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans
- Provide technical support to Management on any safety related subjects
- Coordinate third party HSE audits
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards

Individuals from renowned institutes of Pakistan i.e. LUMS, IBA, NED, CBM, TIP & Karachi University etc. would be preferred.
